Dozens of children in foster care are waiting for a CASA volunteer
If you’ve ever wanted to make a lasting difference for a child in need — this is a great time to consider becoming a CASA Advocate.
CASA is especially in need of committed individuals with experience in education, or an interest in working with adolescents, and are in need of male volunteers. However what is most needed are people with a desire to help a vulnerable child in need.
Eligibility: a valid driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, pass a background check, basic computer skills and the ability to communicate verbally and in writing. You will be required to visit your assigned child once per month, and attend court dates an average of once per quarter.
